We’ve seen Lil Mouse release several videos depicting the violence he grew up around in Chicago. Despite mixed reactions within the hip-hop community, he is gaining massive amount of supporters in his hometown and beyond.

In the short electronic press kit clip, Lil Mouse’s Hella Bandz team shows the lighter side of the 13-year-old rapper. We follow him around his neighborhood in Chicago as he hits the studio and visits home. We meet his mom, find out that his father is currently incarcerated, and learn about his favorite sports. We also see some of his trophies from playing baseball. Watch the video above.

Shit's kind of conflicting. The video makes it seem like besides his controversial rap career, he has a good childhood knowing where he's from.
