Ive told my family that I dont believe in the judaic and christian interpretations of god.

My folks also stay trying to get me to tone down my radicalism citing that their are white
people in my family tee.

My step dad is real religious, since i was young i told him i didnt believe in that stuff, and he tried taking me to church. it was WOAT. They are fine with me not believing tho. They got my little bros in christian school so if they are praying before dinner or w/e i partake out of respect. I have no problems with other people being religious just dont put it on me.

I make my views known. I dont claim to be in any other group besides "non believer".
So when me and my pops talk i slide certain things in to make him think, but i already know he is closedminded about religion. So it would do nothing but aggrevate mebecause he would make it his mission to "prove it" to me. I'll pass

Ive been vocal about it lately. I told my mom and she's at that age when all she says is "well only god knows" that was an awkward after I told her I don't believe in God anymore and prayer is bullshit.

Idk if I even consider myself an atheist, an atheist is one who doesn't believe and is sure there are no higher power. I'm more not giving a fuckeist, cause I don't care if god exists or don't exist. I rather spend my time caring about things that actually matter of effect me.

God existing or Not existing does not effect my life one bit so I don't have the energy to even try to find out I'd he exists or doesn't exist

yes they know (i grew up in a very religious house hold) and like i said in the other thread. i have a right to non believe just like u have the right to believe. neither side is wrong, just have different views. **shrugs**

i told them and at first my mom hit me with the "how can you be so arrogant to not believe?" and shortly after told me "every knee will bend and every head will bow eventually to god" (as if y'know when everybody dies they convert to xtianity smh) . Aside from a few debates, my atheism doesn't really come up much...whenever my mom feels like preaching somewhat, i just let her.
