as for me, i actually like my parents a lot. my mom is my best friend (after my sisters) and we're super close, always have been. my dad is the best dad in the world, and i've always been daddy's girl, i'm pretty sure i'm his favourite. they were kinda on the strict side growing up tho

this thread is more in a um, general way. thats not the word I want, but I mean in a way where you can still love them, but just not like them.

he was mean, is oblivious, other reasons. but I dont hate him.

I was kinda gon make this thread...But it was gon be about the dynamic of young parents and their kids vs older parents and theirs...

Anyway...I'm not "friends" with either one of my parents, we never really had that kinda relationship...It was more they set rules and take care of me and that's that...I'm closer to my mom than my dad though...

i love both my parents even tho my dad wasnt never really there.. only reason we had somewhat of a relationship was cuz my efforts to reach out to him.. but we just had a bad fall out. still contiplating how i can approach him about it to kill whatever bad blood there.

Yea, my moms is cool af. But with that being said, she still does and says things that mothers say to their children eventhough Im a grown ass man and that shit gets annoying after a while. She flew over here for vacation about a week and a half ago, the first few days were Goat, but around that 5th day, im lookin at her like ¨its about time take ur ass back to the states¨ lol .... But thats my mothafucka tho...
