I saw this movie over the holidays. Some don't like its religious themes but this movie blew me away, both in visuals (cinematography and directing probably will both get an oscar) and the story itself. Sad and profound coming together at the end.

Some bad ass Indian bitches too. I didn't know.

i went to see it with my mother-in-law and my step-son and a couple of his friends. my mother-in-law and i love the book but the kids hadn't, and they still loved it. amazing visuals, good acting. i thought it would be impossible to turn the book into a movie, but ang lee did a great job with this one, i loved the ending the best (just like the book)

I was shocked when I heard this was being made into a movie. Didn't think the book was as good as critics made it out to be.

rented it on demand it enjoyed it. if I could remember the ending lets see the tiger told pi to fuck off and went about his separate ways and he wound up married to that pretty girl he was crushing on before his dad decided to pick up and leave for America.

Yeah..but the meaning inside of the meaning... What made the Writer believe in God after the story? Why did he leave the first island? If he was Richard Parker why didn't he look back?
