Sup peeps first i wanna say i dont condone street racing, however if you have open space, theres nobody in sight and the road is wide open i wont say nothing about it lol story doesnt have to be about street racing, it could be your track experience or autocross. i made this thread to see what you guys have ran or been run down by. so post your whip, story, and pics if you want to give peeps a sight into it. also video if you wanna prove it even further lol

Background: so anyway i got a pontiac solstice gxp 2.0L Turbo (automatic) yea i know, auto in a sports car,wtf but i actually prefer it, pushing out 260bhp/260Tq Stock...I have a tune that i can go back and forth if i want to be steady crusing i can leave it on the stock tune or if im ready to run i turn on the tune with just one button! my car dynos 216RWHP stock but with the tune im pushing about 270ishRWHP, big difference in just a little tune. However im always switching my rims out for my 20's and the stock 18's. yet suprsingly all my runs are on my 20's and they are staggered so the get up lags a lil when i compare it to the stocks but fuck it they ride clean

Stories:
First run i had my stock tune it was with a acura integra, these hondas and acura are hot where i live cause of the "JDM Scene" so yea lol anyways im coming down the street (3lanes) doing about 40mph and i see it coming out of a liquor store, i know dude seen me coming cause right away he downshifts and starts flooring it even though im literally about 1.5 car lenghts away. i hear his exhaust open up so i switch lanes to the right and floor it, within about 4-5seconds im gaining on him like crazy, i hit about 80-90mph and its over, i passed dude with a good car length in front of him, i didnt wanna go more since there was no reason to. so at the next light im turning right and i wait for dude to come up, sure enough he comes up and the first thing he says is "were on 6" meaning 6psi of boost. that shit made it even better cause those hondas/acuras with turbo run fast when they are done right, i just replied with "turbo" lol and turned. i was satisfied! the acura looked like this

Second Run (stock tune) was with another one of these hondas it was with a 02-05civic si, these are the hatchback si's, anyway i seen this dude in my city for some time now and i always heard his damn exhaust, and i would always catch dude try revving on me on the opposite side of the road where i cant do shit lol so one day i see this dude about a light away so im waiting at the light to turn green and floor it to the next where he had turned right, floor it down that street cause dude is already towards the end and now im about 3/4s of the way and he slowly turns right onto the next street, so i do the same and im sitting behind him, turn into the left lane (4 lane w/ a divider so 2 lanes each way) and im pacing him, no honks or nothing we both got the hit at the same time and i pass dude like he has his brakes on lol what made it even funnier is that there are houses about 20 feet away from the other side of the street where his homies were at (thats where he was going), i turned around cause i see him bust a uturn and saw him there chit chatted and gave him props for trying, that engine was roaring but no go lol he had an intake/exhaust/headers. what it looked like but in black

Third Run (stock tune) was at my local 1/8th track, i ran against the base model of my car, it was a meet and me and another homie only had the GXPs lol the other three were base models. i ran a 9.2 against his 11.2 he had traction issues and less mods then another base which ran a 10.4. cool experience since it was my first time on the track. the way you can tell if the solstice is a base or a gxp (is obvioulsy if one is turbo and the other one aint) is the exhaust(GXP has dual while base has single) and the kidney grills around the fog lights like so

Fourth Run (stock tune) against this dude who was thinking hes cool in a white mazda Rx-8 with some high ass spoiler, so im cruising in the next city and see H.I.Ds coming up behind me quickly. doesnt really bother me cause i see em all the time but dude got next to me playing with his throttle jumping back and forth. ive seen this dude before cause theres a main street where i goes into where i live and ive seen him leaving through it before. so i said fuck it, i put it in neutral and give it a rev to back the fuck off and he calmed after he heard the turbo yet he was still pacing me. we were going about 30 so i started to initiate the 3 honk rule, motherfucker decides to take off on second honk, i punch it, turbo spools and im at his door, 60mph comes up and still flooring and im passing homie, stopped at about 80mph dude was about 2car lenghts behind. then he pulls the ricer fly by as i slow down lol homie was butthurt

Fifth Run (stock tune then Tune On) again im coasting, see a nice blue mustang gt about a 08-10 i would figure, i pull up at a light next to and i knew it was the v8 since it had the GT badge on the fender and the exhaust had the v8 rumble. dude looks over at me and asks if my little 4 banger could run and i tell tem lets find out lol i figure fuck it lets see how i could do Stock, i rev to about 2k and the light turns green i floor it, right out the gate i got em by a lil more than a fender, im pulling em all the way thru to about 90mph then slowed it down, homie was impressed and asked "what was done" and i told him "its turbo but it was stock", he looked at me and said "how is stock if its turbo", then i explained how the car comes factory turbo'd and the whole deal. hes kinda in shock and i asked what he has done. he had a exhaust and intake so i say you wanna go again, he says "alright ill probably hook better this time" lol now i turn on my tune and we head down another street. same deal again i revv to 2k, light turns green and im out the gate by half a car and PULLING! i still hadnt got used to the power so i was a lil shocked too lol i took it all the way to 90 again but it got there way faster. i had about two car lengths on dude. i got a thumbs up out his window as he turned. turbo was running good that night!
