The acting CEO of Hostess Brands, the failed Twinkies-maker, will not take part in a company-wide pay cut.

Though he imposed an 8 percent pay cut for all Hostess workers, Gregory Rayburn's monthly $125,000 pay -- or $1.5 million a year -- will remain unchanged, a company spokesman told The Huffington Post on Monday. Rayburn is not on the Hostess payroll and therefore isn't subject to the imposed pay cut, the spokesman explained.


Basically, he just told all the employees "Fuck You".

By now, all of the workers should realize that if you're not in their (CEO's etc) income bracket, don't expect them to rationalize and feel for you.

it makes no sense to cut the pay of 16,000 employees @ 8%, which causes a savings of around $51,000,000

when he could just cut his own salary and save the company $1,200,000


cutting his own salary would be nothing more than a gesture of good will that would have such an extremely small impact on the company.

He really need to take a paycut cuz hes not on the hostess payroll. This guy is the acting ceo, that was appointed from the restructuring advisory firm after they filed bankruptcy a second time. Real outrage should be the $1.8 million in bonuses for executives that was approved.
