I've never paid for a membership on a dating site but I've checked a couple out before.

I met my boyfriend online, although it wasn't through a dating site.

My BFF and her husband met online and they just celebrated 5 years.

We use computers and the internet to work, pay bills, shop, learn, etc...why is it taboo to admit to using it to socialize or meet a mate?

I mean I don't see the big problem with it. I have been on POF, and a site called Datehookup.com. The thing is I never put my picture up.

I was just wondering do the pictures and stuff even help. I personally think a lot of people are hiding behind the net picture collecting and stuff like that. I don't really know how far to go with it?
