I've read some of the books based off the character. Still don't understand how they got 5'7 Tom Cruise to play a character that's described as 6'5 and in excess of 200lbs.

Yeah I agree...Tom Cruise cannot play a tough guy...and whats with the plaid flannel? Looks like he's overcompensating large.
