Quitting video games

Have you done it or are you a lifelong gamer? Or did you never see the appeal of video games? Im finding them to be a waste of time so im definitely selling my xbox and giving up video games for the new year and beyond. Im sure there are more enriching things I can do.

I sat out this generation in the sense that it's the only one I didn't invest in (if you don't count portables). I've played games through the PS3's. Wii's and 360's of friends and family for the past 5 years. Nothing interests me enough to get to be that into it at this moment. I do plan on copping a Wii U next year though and the next Xbox when it's eventually out though.

word, i remember like 2 years ago i picked up assassins creed and i started playing again, before that it was just madden, cod, and forza, it gets boring after a while however if your a car guy forza is a dream, forza 4 that is

I've cut back on gaming because of work/school priorities but I'm not sure I'll ever truly quit gaming as a whole...at least not before I have a family.

Me too.
Used to only play sports games, halo and cod.
Started w/ a more realistic fps in battlefield 3, moved onto shit like mass effect, forza, skyrim, etc.
