I believe in a higher power, I don't believe in a guy with a white beard that created us all putting us through a test. Then that guy wants me to say I believe Jesus died for me to get into heaven or pray five times facing the east to get into heaven? Naaa. Makes no sense.

Also, though I believe in a higher power, I don't try to find out what it is or what its purpose is. I rather use my time bettering my life and my families life. When I get to where I wanna get to financially then I will probably ponder life and deeper meanings but at the moment I'm focused on making my life better.

I'm more spiritual than religious. I believe there is a higher being ( a Gid if u will) but I don't think he gives a fuck if I call him Jehovah, Allah, or whatever these other religions call their God.

In short IDC what she believes in. And as long as she can respect that I believe there's a God but that I don't fuck w/ the Bible, the Torah, the Quaran or any other religious doctrine we can coexist.

On one hand I would have a problem with my s/o being atheist. On the other hand I look at how people conduct themselves from day to day rather than what labels they put on themselves for the world to see. If I hate one thing it's a hypocrite. If my s/o would be atheist or an infidel in general, she would have to keep those thoughts to herself and respect me and not influence our children with it...

I am spiritual, not at all religious so while I am not a part of any organized religion, knowing a higher power is important. Being in tune and connected with ones spiritual side means more to me, religion holds no weight.
