the black officer, Sidnor or whatever was driving around town looking for the cats. he cant find where he's at or supposed to go so he stops and pulls out the map..and based on the coordinates on the grid from the map and the times on the clock, he was able to get a location for the meet. man the sopranas was sooo weak compared to this. i dont know if its becasue you can see this every day or because i grew up in a hood kinda like that or what..but the sopranos seemed more fiction than anything

Not a prequel as much as inspired by the same source material. The same guys that created the Wire based loosely on their careers in the field and some people from Bmore kinda used the Corner as a test for what the Wire would become. Homicide: Life on the Streets is another show inspired by the same sources.

I was late too. Being late to a show is great though. You get to watch it at your own pace and don't have to worry about waiting til the next week or next season to get resolution to cliff hangers and such.
