Shoes rubbing up on the back of my ankle cutting my shit up... anyone else get this?

I bought a pair of polo shoes the other day (pictured below) and when I wear them the back of the shoe rubs against the back of my ankle eventually breaking the skin and annoying the shit out of me. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Is there a way to fix this?

I tried them on in the store and they fit well. I walked around in them and had no issue. When I wear them for prolonged periods of time though (few hours) the back of my ankle gets mangled.

I am desperate for some solutions

THEY SELL THIS RUBBER THING THAT YOU CAN PUT IN THE BACK OF YOUR FOOT TO PREVENT THAT FROM HAPPENING... TYPE YOUR PROBLEM INTO GOOGLE AND IM SURE IT WILL POP UP

I've had a similar problem way back. I think your shoes are like a half size too small.

Only ish i found was for ladies. Seems weird using a ladies product

Damn u were right son. I went back and got an exchange. Walked out of there with a size 9. Smallest shoes i own right now iono how this happened.

Depending what company made them...for example: China's size ten maybe a little different than United States ten,etc.

Never had this problem for years now. But what came to mind right now is, try a wide strip of weather installation tape( adhesive on one side)...they come in different thickness.
