Like @Cmpusher said while the WWE was on fire in 2000, WCW was at its absolute worse. As a matter WCW in the year 2000 was wrestling at its worst. First off at the beginning of the year Chris Benoit(who had just won the WCW heavyweight championship), Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko and Eddie Guerrero would all leave the company and would sign with the WWE. But the worst was yet to come later that year this man would become the head writer of WCW Nitro

I don't have the time and day write all the bad story lines he came up with while he was in charge. He also buried the cruiserweight division. He is also the genius who gave Jeff Jarrett the WCW title.

Next time you wanna sit and complain about RAW remember this.

The way Russo ran WCW into the ground makes me wonder sometimes if Vince McMahon was in on that shit.....

I sometimes refuse to believe that Russo was soooo gotdamn stupid he thought the astronomically retarded shit he put on Nitro was good ideas......the biggest WTF being putting the WHC on Jeff Jarrett and pushing him when the nigga drew car wash tokens.

Only reason why the Russo/Ferrara experiment worked in WWE, was because everything had to get Vinnie Mac's stamp of approval, and i believe that he turned a lot of bs down from them two clowns

Only thing memorable about that time frame: Kimberly Page's ass getting more screen time, Nitro Girls, Major Gunns, Scott Steiner/Kevin Nash on the mic, and Kimberly Page's titties. In fact, if it wasn't for her female version of "What about Raven?" I probably wouldn't have kept watching.

Anybody else remember them giving away free shit to fill up the Thunder tapings?
