Females of the IC have you ever been in the club this past year dancing to a song by 2chains,lil wayne,tyga..... and any other weak rapper from the south to many to name. At any point on the dance floor whether you be grinding on a dude lap or just dance with your girlfriends. Does the thought ever cross you're mind that the songs your dancing to is demeaning you and you're friends ?

Like i don't understand how you can dance to a song about cash making females shake there ass? When you are a female that's hearing this and you don't think hey this is kinda wrong ? Look at it this way say a rapper song is playing and the lyrics are (niggas not shit but a pay check) would you see any man 2steping to that? NO

So why do female not us their brain to understand that the songs they dance to are shitin on them and the women's right they fight so hard for everyday but soon as the club opens up it's Bad bitch this , hood bitch that . I think any women with a brain would not dance to any song like that. Anything i can think of as to why any self respecting female would dance to that shit is to fit in.


All I'm saying play a song about all niggas being broke/ugly/or tricking and we won't even bop are heads.

But play a song saying all bad bitch shake there ass for some money and they twerking without thinking how can so many women be that weak minded?

Maybe I'm just to young to understand or it something more deep down i don't care if you do it just tell a soul brother why?

No self respecting man is going to dance to a song that objectifies him. We are naturally prideful creatures of course thats not going down. Women naturally have lower self esteem and will dance to songs that objectify her.

I do listen to old skool hip hop and R&B. Currently in rotation are Lecrae, Bizzle, Floetry, Jill Scott

See that's the thing no one in the business wanna talk about.

Listen, entertainment business thrives off of 2 demographics more-so than others and that is women and young kids. They buy most of the products that are mass produced and are also more gullible.

So when women talk about how degrading alot of hip-hop music is i just laugh because ironically the songs are bought, supported and marketed towards y'all, not men. They figure market that shit to women and if women like it the men will follow.

Trust me most dudes weren't buying the "Tip Drill" single, most dudes weren't screaming for alot of these wack/"degrading to women" ass rappers compared to the women. You really think women supported Wu-Tang? Nas? etc.? Unless have a "women scream whenever they take off their shirt" look then women ain't fucking with it.

Truth is, women aren't into hip-hop like that and never have been. They more into R&B and slow jams. Women never really fucked with hip-hop like that until it became a dominant genre and rappers started to have R&B singers singing on their songs. Then they wanna blame it on men as to why there haven't been more women rappers.

Eh, I haven't been to the club in awhile, but I have danced and even sang along to some pretty misogynistic lyrics in the past.

As I've gotten older I've pretty much cooled it on rap altogether. If I do listen, it's something that has some real meaning in the lyrics. I see hip hop in a more poetic sense now, instead of just focusing on the beat factor...which the South is famous for.

RnB has always been number one for me though.

I mean a song about partying is never going to not have certain elements in it...there's going to be lyrics about women, dancing, being drunk, and the shit that goes on in a party. There's nothing wrong with that inherently...it's club/party music...that's what it's for...not deep thinking or analyzing "Should I be dancing to this"...hell early rap songs had some fucked up lyrics in them too people partied too...shit "White Lines" is a song about snorting coke for fucks sake lol...and I know ya'll didn't think Kurtis Blow was named "Blow" because he was clever...
