Nas has signed a deal with the company for a campaign that previously featured Erykah Badu, Manny Pacquiao and Martin Scorcese.

Nas has announced signing a deal with Hennessy for the second year of the company's "Wild Rabbit" campaign.

For the campaign, Nas will perform at a private concert on January 15th at New York City, New York's R Lounge. Hennessy has partnered with Livestream to broadcast the event worldwide and will then make it downloadable on Facebook. Additionally, fans can submit questions to Nas at @HennessyUS during a live Twitter Q&A.

"This partnership with Hennessy has been almost two decades in the making," said Nas. "I am honored to be included in the group of previous partners Hennessy has selected over the years and hope this campaign will inspire others to 'never stop, never settle."'

All these moves lately are b/c of his debts.

Just think about it. In the couple months he's:

- Released a dope album
- Done a couple features (it seems he's been doing more features this past year than the couple years prior)
- He's already announced he's working on his next album (which probably came with an advance)
- He's re-released Illmatic as a box set (he basically slapped the vinyl and a couple pictures of himself into a box)
- And now he's announced he's doing an ad for liquor?
- Plus he was touring not long ago when his foreclosure news came out.

Looks like he's working all avenues to increase his revenues fast and pay off these debts.

I don't get your angle. What's the point of this thread other then for you gloat and ride for your favorite artist? You know Nas contradicts himself, he's a fake conscious rapper, he really is commercial, he does this for fame\fortunes and that this is all entertainment.
