Oregon coach Chip Kelly will be the new coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, league sources told ESPN.

Kelly re-emerged as a candidate recently and an agreement was just reached Thursday.

This only matters if he brings in a reputable defensive coordinator. All the offense in the world won't fix that shitty D.

I never wanted him here, just I thought he was a gimmick coach, but if he keeps Vick, I'd be intrigued.

I see a lot of people saying they'd "give" family members money.

Thats not what you want to do.

You want to set up a trust fund so they get a monthly payment. You can set up a trust fund so your mother gets, say, $10,000 a month for the rest of her life. According to my math, $10,000 per month for 20 years is $2.4 million. That's better than giving her $2.4 million up front because she can blow it all in a matter of days and then she'll want more and you'd feel obligated to give it to her.

So if you win, don't "give" anybody anything. Set up a trust fund.

Now that I think about it, I could set up a trust fund for my brother. I'd give him $10,000 a month. He's about 45 now so $10,000 per month for 40 years is only $4.8 million. That makes more sense than giving him the money in one lump sum.

Anyone else think it's crazy only about 10 posters regularly post here and we got damn near 500 pages?

I think they pulled this move because of the success that college style offenses are having right now. Plus they don't have to get rid of Vick right away with this move. I don't think it's a good one though. NFL teams will figure out all this college stuff soon, and then what do you have.

A broken down Micheal Vick, a QB who looks like Napolean Dynamite, and a prime draft pick to get my cracka

lol True. I just hope this will lead to Vick having one last good year before he fades into Bolivion.

He works his running backs more than his qb so he has time to find a dual threat wb. Shady and Brown will make a nice duo for him Just needs to get a good Defensive mind to help him out.

I think he'll be alright I wonder how his practice methods will work in teh NFL tho That's gonna be huge. B/c he doesn't run any drills or anything Oregon plays a game vs each other for practice then watches the film.

Im sure he'll change that shit.

Believe it or not, fundamentals are even more important in the NFL, 'cause you're not going to "out talent" anybody.

Gotta focus on the little shit.

Eagles will lead the league in turnovers and penalties if he tries that shit.
