Major sports leagues are really agianst Athlees using substances that heal them and get them back in the game faster

I am ignorant to the exact effect of what there using but whats wrong with healing from injuries more effectively and faster?

I think it has more to do with these "substances" being performance enhancing more so than it being just getting them back faster but what do I know.
