I'm a just wait a year or two after both consoles hit the market and see what fuckery comes from these consoles and consumer reviews. If I decide to get a next gen console I'm only buying one this time around. Now if they increase the price on next gen games either I'm done with gaming or my PS3 & 360 consoles is gone to get a ridiculous amount of burn.

Either way one or both of these companies are going to hang themselves in some way with the next gen consoles either with used game block tech or required internet connection if the cost of games increase it might be a disaster across the board.

Cats out here acting like gaming is invincible. Sony and MS might have folks jocking Nintendo again. Sony and MS are forgetting this type of "We run you bitches" attitude is why Nintendo got smashed during the N64 and Gamecube eras.

After the slave master mentality during the SNES era, developers hopped ship quick for Sony's console and took fans with them (Word to Squaresoft and FF). MS followed the blueprint with Xbox and 360. Now, they're both trying to system lock people's games on disc or over an internet connection--and be clear, that's what MS is doing--is going to send people to less tedious hardware.

This is why people bootleg the shit out of PC games: not because it's cheap but because running the game legit is usually more problematic than the pirated version. *looking at anything Ubisoft*
