Indiana cheer coach admits to smashing student in exchange for plea deal and no jail time (W/Pics)

A high school cheerleading coach has admitted that she performed a sex act on a 17-year-old student as part of a plea deal. Megan Crafton, 22, handed herself in to police on June 15 after the teenage boy, who was on the school basketball team, told police about the liaison in the parking lot of a grocery store in January.

Crafton, of Indianapolis, appeared in court on Thursday and pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of dissemination of matter or conducting performance harmful to minors which is still a felony but means she will not have to register as a sex offender.

She had originally been charged with felony child seduction. Her lawyer Allen Lindy told Fox: 'She’s got her whole life ahead of her, and hopefully, this is just a blip on the radar for her.' The 22-year-old had admitted to police that she had performed the sex act on the teenage student in the parking lot of the Western Supermarket in Shelbyville.

The coach will remain on probation for 18 months, serve 25 hours of community service and pay court fees. If she does not violate her probation, she can appeal to have her sentence reduced to a misdemeanor. The 22-year-old is not a teacher and did not coach the student but was in a position of authority.

The school district did not comment on court proceedings on Thursday or Crafton, who was engaged before her arrest. Though the age of consent for sexual activity in Indiana is 16, adults are legally prohibited from having sex with anyone under the age of 18 if they hold authority over them as part of their job.

I see a lot of people saying they'd "give" family members money.

Thats not what you want to do.

You want to set up a trust fund so they get a monthly payment. You can set up a trust fund so your mother gets, say, $10,000 a month for the rest of her life. According to my math, $10,000 per month for 20 years is $2.4 million. That's better than giving her $2.4 million up front because she can blow it all in a matter of days and then she'll want more and you'd feel obligated to give it to her.

So if you win, don't "give" anybody anything. Set up a trust fund.

Now that I think about it, I could set up a trust fund for my brother. I'd give him $10,000 a month. He's about 45 now so $10,000 per month for 40 years is only $4.8 million. That makes more sense than giving him the money in one lump sum.

Anyone else think it's crazy only about 10 posters regularly post here and we got damn near 500 pages?

All the other sports threads on here are people with hobbies. This is football - the beautiful game. We eat, sleep and drink football.
