you see this a lot in men that come from single parent homes. their mothers raise them to be the man that they always wanted. they end up relying on their sons for financial and emotional support...basically a stand in boyfriend without the sex or romance. once her son moves on and tries to have a real relationship, the mom will act up like she just got dumped. she won't be satisfied unless the girlfriend is EXTREMELY close to her to the point that its actually 3 people in the relationship.

what she is saying is that there is a chance...a highly probable one that the other parent is still involved...the situation where they just cut off from each other cold turkey is VERY rare...not saying it doesnt happen, but if a chick got a 1yr old, i will assume she still involved with the baby daddy in some capacity emotionally and not just financially...

women need to find a new term for mama's boy...i love my mama...i dont give her money, but i do love her...she was the only woman that mattered to me before i got married...so im just supposed to cut her off? i've never heard of people giving money to their mothers until i started working with a few black folks. I wasn't aware of the "hood tithe"...Almost every single one of them talked about how they were giving their mothers a few hundred here, a few hundred there to pay the light bill, etc... One dude was getting married and said he had to create some secret bank account so he could still send his momma some money without his wife finding out. Just recently this other dude was saying how when he got his tax return money back he had to break his momma off 10%. I'm like, "what the hell for" and he said so she can pay some bills and whatever. I think the guys have good intentions, but all i see is some schemin ass mothers.

this is the only thing that stood out to me a little.....the ladies may raise this flag on me.....i love my mama to death...when she calls me and needs something, im there.....im not jumping out of bed for no dumb shit or making my own situation suffer, but i help anytime i can.....yes that includes giving her money ( and my girl dont be feelin that shit all the time *shrugs* ).....but that goes both ways too....if this woman has 5 dollars to her name and i needed it, its nothing, not even a question.....im her first boy and we've always just been tight like that

I'm staying away if he's a full time artist or musician and I've never heard of his work outside of him telling me.

Also if he has a crazy nickname like all his friends call him " no nuts" or "lame Larry".

And if he has kids and doesn't talk about them or when you meet them they show him no respect.
