    while there have been numerous influential 5% emcees, i don't think the racist doctrine of the cult has had much of an influence on hip hop culture

    Racism is a systematic oppression of the colored man which began in 1492. It's an invention of the white man. This has been known. These beliefs are a defense against the institutional and historical racism that has happened since that time.

    Exactly and it is the whites which have believed themselves superior and treated blacks as second class. It is time to right the wrongs and has been for some time. This isn't racism. It's justice.

    Now you can rightly say that white supremacism has done a number on African folks, but it is inaccurate and illogical to say that if blacks promote this kind of 5% hate speech, they are not engaging in racism.     Nah, what is inaccurate is to confuse racism with prejudice. Again, whites have the power structure behind them - they have the ability to discriminate - not blacks. Suppose we do get the power behind us? What then? Again that would be justice. Merely balancing the scales. Does speech hurt you? Is speech the same as outsourcing your jobs, putting an interstate through your neighborhood? Buying up your land? And this is ignoring all the things that happened before we were "saved" in 1968. Illogical? Please.
