    My 5 contenders for defeating Thanos;

    Hulk - Hulk would be a formidable foe for even Thanos. The angrier Hulk gets, the more powerful Hulk gets. Maybe Hulk gets left out the majority of the fighting somehow. Finally, Hulk gets his hands on the infinity gauntlet and uses it to destroy Thanos. Then uses his Hulk strength to destroy the gauntlet.

    Ant Man - Imagine getting every single ant on earth to simultaneously use the combined massive strength to somehow defeat Thanos. Unlikely, but you never know.

    Gamora - Thanos favorite. One of the likely candidates to defeat the Mad Titan.

    Nebula - The other likely candidate and most likely. A serious grudge against Thanos for her deformity will create an anger that she will use against her adoptive father. This will be good to see.

    Thor - The God of Thunder. Literally being a God will have him being one of Thanos greatest opponents. Especially if Odin gets involved.

    With or without the guantlet Thanos is as strong or stronger the Hulk so pure strength will not be him. Thor's hammer will be his go to but the preview of his upcoming movie shows that being destroyed by Hela.

    I honestly think that it will take another character we haven't seen to stop Thanos

    Fantastic 4?

    Captain Marvel?

    Is it confirmed that Thanos dies? Otherwise i dont see anybody actually killing him so to speak. Thwarting him, definitely. But killing him? Unless he wants to die? Nah.

    I think he gets weakened to the point we're Doctor Strange banishes him to another realm or his son Thane takes care of him

    Well if someone else picks up the Gauntlet, they'd be more than capable of killing him. I think it all depends on what they want to do with Phase 4. If the go the comic route, Thanos is defeated, but Warlock holds off from killing him because he believes one day the universe will need Thanos. They could go that route in the MCU too. Basically, keep him around and have the second Big Bad be someone that the heroes have no hope of defeating without Thanos.

    Just left the theater.

    I didn't think I'd like Spiderman this much. People really overexaggerated alot of the promo. I would've liked a more in depth character analysis but I understand that's not Marvel's main focus in movie making. But taking the film for what it is, there isn't anything I dislike about it. They did alot of things really well.

    Better than both Guardians films, both Thor films, and off first watch, better than Doctor Strange too.
    do you understand what im getting at?? WHAT WHITE PPL THINK, AND WHAT THEY DEFINE THINGS AS IS NOT THE STANDARD YOU SHOULD BE GOING BY. That is of course, if you are not mentally defeated by the complex of white supremacy, where everything whites do is the "right" way, where having straight hair and lightskin is "beautiful" but dark skin and nappy hair is "ugly"
    You're doing it wrong. You take one and really fuck them up; make an example to the other kids. Like grab the small bitch and gouge her eyes out with your thumbs. Then curb stomp her.

    I have to disagree with being better than both guardians films or doctor strange. its on par or bareley with those movies. theres been so many Spider-Man movies out that seing spider man on the big screen in any form doesn't feel new. that's why they had that stark tech suit with all those gadgets for the sake of doing something new. the first two Spider-Man movies from avi arad felt more like Spider-Man. it was still a good Spider-Man flick. he was mostly in queen though in the sequels he'll be swingin around manhattan. also it wont be long before he's j jonah jameson and it really starts feeling like Spider-Man. in the comics he was still in highschool when he started working for the bugle.

    @SuperManuel

    I think Avengers Part 1 will have thanos beat the shit out of folks and even have some characters killed. Possibly not on Earth though, Avengers may get him off planet somehow.

    The movies in between Infinity War 1 and 2 are Ant Man and the Wasp and Captain Marvel. I think Ant Man and wasp will take place in the aftermath of of Infinity War and will be a smaller scale film. Captain Marvel will possibly take place a majority in space. Then Infinity War 2 will see the heroes get the Gauntlet and revive dead heroes then kick Thanos ass. Word up.

    Spider-Man: Homecoming’ suffers MCU’s worst second-weekend drop ever

    Sony’s Spider-Man: Homecoming isn’t remotely a flop. Yet the $175 million-budgeted Marvel Cinematic Universe entry earned another $45.2 million in its second weekend of release and has now earned $208.27m in 10 days. But the film did drop 61% in its second weekend, identical to the second-weekend drops for Spider-Man 3 and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. And that $45m weekend figure, from a $117m opening weekend, is identical to the $45m third weekend of Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man (in 2002) and the second weekend of Spider-Man 2 (coming off an $88m Fri-Sun/$180m Wed-Mon debut in 2004).

    So, unless it catches up over the next month (and that’s not remotely out of the question), we’re looking at an identical multiplier to Amazing Spider-Man 2 ($202m/$91m) and Spider-Man 3 ($336m/$151m). That will lead to a domestic total almost identical to the $262m cume of The Amazing Spider-Man (from a $137m Tues-Sun debut) back in 2012. And adjusted for inflation, it will be noticeably fewer tickets sold than that 2012 reboot. And if the second-weekend figure holds up, the 61.3% drop will be the worst ever for a Marvel Cinematic Universe title.

    This would've never happened if they just let Marvel make a Spiderman movie.

    Venom's Working Title Teases New Character Origins

    Sony Pictures is preparing to make a move on its next Marvel project in a few months, but the feature won’t be housing the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. The studio will slated to begin production on its Venom spin-off come September, and its new working title might hint at what all the film will entail.

    According to a new report by Omega Underground, Venom appears to be operating under the working title ‘Antidote.’ The codename is expected to be used during pre-production and filming, but fans are thinking the title has more meaning to it than Sony would admit.

    While working title’s can be just that, films often pick obscure names to work with which ultimately circle back to its topic. For Venom, a title like ‘Antidote’ have fans wondering if the movie will alter the origins of its titular symbiote. Rather than hailing from the planet Battleworld, the Venom parasite may find its origins within the Earth. The symbiote may crop up following a pandemic of sorts, and Eddie Brock could be the unlucky - or maybe lucky - man whom the organism latches onto.

    Of course, the working title may also refer to Brock once he has become attached to the symbiote. Venom may pose a threat to its human host once they become attached, and Brock may wind up putting his life at stake to work with the strange organism.

    So far, there are few details out about the Venom spin-off, but fans know enough to be intrigued by the project. Recently, news broke that Cletus Kasady is expected to stand in as Venom’s main villain as the man is better-known by his moniker Carnage. Reports have also cropped up which suggest the spin-off will feature Brock’s ex-wife Anne Weying, and comic readers will recognize the character as another Venom host from the canon.

    As for casting, Sony has only moved forward with one star for Venom. Tom Hardy has been brought on to play Eddie Brock and lead the film moving forward. With the move expected to begin production at the start of September, fans are hoping Sony may reveal new casting updates in July as San Diego Comic Con gears up.

    There was some talk the recent release Life may have been a "test pilot" for Venom given the ending and that it has the same writers as Venom, don't know if anyone else caught that. I don't think there's much there but I do see how it could serve as a platform for an alien symbiote coming to earth without requiring the involvement of Spider-Man.

    Supergiant isn't part of the Black Order because they thought people would confuse her with Nebula and Black Dwarf got his name changed because they didn't want to upset any disabled or minority groups, particularly after the bullshit uproar over Iron Fist actually being white like he is in the comics instead of stunt casted as an Asian to appease people who didn't know fuck all but wanted proportional representation because they're entitled idiots.

    no lie that would be dope if life was a tie in to Venom

    that movie was highly slept on at the box office
