The NWA Family Tree Starts With Dr Dre, Not Eazy E

The World Class Wrecking Crew was

Lonzo (Alonzo Williams),
Andre Young (Dr. Dre),
Marquette Hawkins (Cli-N-Tel),
Antoine Carraby(DJ Yella),
Barry Severe (Shakespeare),
Mona Lisa Young,
Michelle Toussaint (Michel'le).

They released five albums. Dr Dre and DJ Yella were involved in the first two;

World Class - 1985
Rapped in Romance - 1986
Turn Off The Lights In The Fast Lane - 1988
Dance In Romance - 1989 (without Dr Dre and Yella)
Phases In Life - 1990 (without Dr Dre and Yella)

As I understand it, Dr Dre was making noise in L.A. and the West Coast in the mid 80s before Eazy E came into the picture. As I mentioned in another thread, I remember the song Turn On The Lights getting played at parties in the spring of 1988.

R-48486-1271778742.jpeg.jpg

In 1986, Ice Cube , Dr Dre and Alonzo Williams hooked up and formed the Stereo Crew. The name of the song was She's a Skag

R-1028887-1276237175.jpeg.jpg

In 1987, Dr Dre hooked up with Ice Cube again to record an EP. The name of the group was C.I.A.

R-213236-1142344942.jpeg.jpg

If you look at the back of the record cover it clearly says Ice Cube and Dr Dre.

R-213236-1413087189-5167.jpeg.jpg

In the other thread there's a bunch of little kids that weren't even born when all of this was taking place claiming that the NWA family tree starts with Eazy E. Eazy E didn't record his first record until 1987. The song was called Boys In The Hood and was produced by Dr Dre and written by Ice Cube.

R-1509459-1224980829.jpeg.jpg

MC Ren didn't enter the picture until he appeared on the b-side of Eazy's second single, Radio

R-2792809-1301250856.jpeg.jpg

Track B2 "Compton's N The House" is the original version and only appears on this cassette single (the vinyl of this single has a radio edit of Eazy-Duz-It instead of Compton's N The House, sad but true). There is a remix version of Compton's N The House that appears on N.W.A.'s Straight Outta Compton album, but the original can only be found here on this cassette single.

So there you have it. The chronological order of all of the NWA members and their recordings. As you can clearly see, Dr Dre and DJ Yella were the first members of NWA to break into the music industry. While its true that Eazy founded Ruthless Records with Jerry Heller, Ice Cube and Dr Dre had already hooked up. Its likely that they would have gone on to be superstars without Eazy. They certainly had the talent.

    I edited my O/P.

I included She's A Skag by Stereo Crew. I didn't realize Dr Dre and Ice Cube made a song together in 1986.

So you're saying the CIA EP was R&B?

    Hater thread.

I been asking you since yesterday to name at least 2 members of the wcwc crew. Anybody who knew anything already knew that dre and yella, 2 of the founding members of nwa were in the wcwc along with michel'le. It took you 24 hours to state the fucking obvious.

You forgot to mention that dre and eazy knew each other going to high school. eazy was party promoter while dre was local a dj. eazy and dre were connected before eazy and cube. get ur facts right hater

Basically I'm saying that you're a (anti) Dr. Dre troll.

Here's just two threads that you began in January........

Since I began posting here, you do the same shit over and over and over and over again. It's boring.

I have 5,600+ posts and you've found 2 of them (3 if you include this one) about Dr Dre. How does that make me a troll?

Can you please define the word "hater"? because you've called me a "hater" several times and I'm not sure what you're accusing me of "hating".

You keep saying that I "hate" Eazy.

Why do you keep saying that I "hate" Eazy E?

I never once said that I hated Eazy E.

Your repetition that I hate Eazy E doesn't make it true.

any one who puts this much time, energy and effort into tearing down a certified og is a hater. real dudes aint about to let you ruin eazy's legacy. eat a dick faggot

I don't understand how I'm "tearing down" anybody or why you think I'm trying to "ruin Eazy's legacy".

All I'm saying is that Dr Dre and Yella were around since 1985. Dre and Cube hooked up in 1986 and made a record before they worked with Eazy. Therefore the NWA family tree starts with Dre.

There's another thread where somebody (probably you) stated the NWA family tree starts with Eazy E and I'm simply pointing out that thats a false statement. That doesn't make me a hater, I'm just stating facts.

If somebody said that Thomas Jefferson was the first president and I corrected him and said that George Washington was the first president, that doesn't mean I'm hating on Thomas Jefferson, it just means he wasn't the first president and I'm correcting an error.

But your so emotional that all you can do is make ad hominem attacks.

And you're supposed to capitalize a letter at the beginning of a sentence.
