Yea but that team played much better than this team is playing right now even in losses they were more competitive. This current team lacks something, pitching and defense fell off too. They never played good without fowler, I think that has something to do wit it.Which is why happ should get a shot at lead off I think he has the poise even tho he just got called up.

They also took off in the 2nd half they had the best record in mlb 2nd half of '15 + arrieta has that historic 2nd half.

Man, Freddie with another homer today and a few hits. One of the best hitters in the league. Kemp is hitting well, also. Team has to start winning tho

Hey, they've won their last 4 of 5. Brandon Phillips is playing pretty well also although uber prospect Swanson is still hitting below .200. Offense isn't a problem with this Braves team it's their makeshift pitching staff.

I really don't see anybody fucking with the Astros overall though, that team is ridiculously stacked offensively hell they got players like Gattis, Aoki, Reddick, etc. that don't even play every day that would start on most teams. Granted their pitching staff is pretty average after Keuchel who's back on his Cy Young shit this but it might not matter with their offense.

Cubs got a decision to make when heyward comes off the dl.Gonna be hard to send happ back down dude poise is ridiculous drew 2 walks(one bases loaded) and hit an opposite field hr last night.

I'm more open to trading schwarber for pitching than I was before.

These local crackas(media and fans) talkin bout trade baez for pitching.Meanwhile they cape for schwarber who is hitting .187 and has 0 defensive value.I watched baez make game changing defensive plays in october and in the postseason(excluding the world series) was the only cubs hitter besides bryant who actually hit.

Hoping for the best, but prepared for the worst with freeman. I remember him hurting his wrist before, and it taking him months to get back.

the white sox‬ are clearly all in on robert

they should have resolution soon and multiple factors working in their favor

heyman and badler are heavy hitters and have linked ‪white sox to robert

the organization also has money to spend

‪white sox‬ dont have $$$ committed to top international amateurs for j2

that is another sign that robert is the focus

it will come down to money but ‪the white sox‬ should be able to outbid the likes of houston and st louis

Yea, I figured Tehran would get him. Bautista ain't want no smoke then or after the bat flip. In the end it doesn't even matter tho...we got blown out and we still lost Freeman for 8 weeks

if he likes the ‪white sox ‬and they dont offer equal money and lose him

i will never go to another game

luis robert should be an olive branch to the fan base

if white sox miss out over a couple million this will put a major damper on goodwill

this is adding a top 25 prospect in the game for just money

its possible robert is a more premium prospect than anyone the white sox can fetch for quintana

    speaking of which

It is believed that the other team vying for Robert, 19, the St. Louis Cardinals, offered the outfielder more money….

It is believed that Robert was extremely impressed by the White Sox, who made a presentation to accompany his live workout for the team. General manager Rick Hahn and executive vice president Kenny Williams attended the workout. But the team also presented Robert with a video narrated in Spanish by manager Rick Renteria that included testimonials from fellow Cubans Jose Abreu and Moncada urging Robert to join them in Chicago.

this further demonstrates how much confidence white sox fans should have in rick hahn

    the man has a plan

he has just become my favorite chicago gm next to theo and jed

    quintana

the indians new 60 million dollar man edwin incarnation started well but has been leaking fluids since

his current line is .199/.333/.356 and he has compiled -0.2 WAR

also at -0.2 WAR is albert pujols with his .247/.293/.386 performance

and andrew mccutchen has continued his mysteriously rapid decline batting .215/.286/.386

    good for 0.0 WAR

these three player are costing their clubs a combined 58 million bucks this season and all get more expensive next year
