Who do you Think Will be the Better Pro??

i Know Jones didnt have a huge sophmore year but i think it had more to do with the QB , QB couldnt get him the ball damn near the whole year and was pretty much just asked not to blow games just maintain.

They both have different styles of play , green is more a spectacular playmaker , and jones is more physical

Pro wise i actually like Julio due to how physical he is ...

i'll go with aj green. joe cox nh was horrible, he missed some games and still had a decent year. i know mcelroy wasnt great but he's better than joe and julio seems to disappear a lot through games.

i Just Think Julio's True Talent is going to Show more in Pro rather in College, team he is on now Stresses the Run so much...they just pound the football down the other throat (N/H) until the defense wears down...

i've always been a big fan of Julio Jones, despite him not puttin up the numbers everyone expected, but I think he'll be a good #2 receiver for alot of years, same thing for the guy i thought said AC Green. He could be another Mohamed Massoquoi....but i see no reason that would keep these guys from being, at worst #2 receivers, and both are talented enough to be #1's, but alot of their success is going to depend on where they are drafted

AJ Green is more fluid, has better hands, and is over all the more polished receiver. He is more like Plaxico Burress or Charles Rogers before he was a pot head loser. Julio Jones is more rugged and physical and reminds me of TO. I'm gonna go with AJ Green only because he has shown more in college because his offense isn't just a ground and pound offense. But who knows who will be better in the pros.

I think its a close one, right now just based on numbers its AJ, but there always seems to be something with Julio he was hurt for a good portion of his freshman year and still wasn't 100%. I also think Julio is hurt by how dominant of a running game they have, Ingram and Richardson. Add to that Saban is a run first coach, and the Tide haven't played from behind much, so he doesn't get to showcase as much. The one game that comes to mind that shows he can be a beast is that Auburn game last year. IMO it was Julio that took over in the fourth, when they needed yards, he was open.

I like Green better. They both play in SEC so they play stiff comp all the time, Ill take Green though and not look back.

Both are great receivers, AJ was almost at Alabama when him and Julio were being recruited.
Imagine them two on the left and right side at Alabama, that would have been unstoppable.
But I think Julio will get his touches more this year, Saban went with the game plan that was guaranteed and that's how Mark Ingram got The Heisman.
I see Julio at the mall when I go to Tuscaloosa, dude got bigger and he is working on his game, look at for him this year.
Julio will be better in the pros because they will use his height and jumping ability more in The NFL.
When I look at Julio and AJ I see, Andre Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald

Julio is a beast after the catch.... a lot like TO was in his hey day. Like a few people have said in here, we didnt have to throw much last year because we were ahead most of the time and add to the fact Julio was never 100%. AJ is probably a more dynamic receiver that makes more highlight catches. It all depends on what system these guys end up in to answer the thread question.... It's like Light Liquor vs Dark Liquor(cant go wrong with either depending on your preference).... SEC all day.... yezzir

U got a point, Julio was playing hurt must of the year, so he really wasn't himself.
He is healthy now and like I said, I seen him at the mall last month in Tuscaloosa and he got bigger and been working on his game, so he will be better this year.
AJ is a great player and the reason he got more stats then Julio is because, our running game was dominate and when we did pass Darius Hanks and Marquis Maze got most of the touches because, they were double teaming Julio.
Georgia's game is centered around passing, so AJ got alot more opportunities than Julio.

charles rogers was always injured even through college he was banged up was a waste of a pick....jones plays on a better team but green is a more talented player he could become a great pro

Because maybe just maybe AJ Green could be better than Plexico. I was comparing AJ Green and Julio Jones playstyles and frames not saying they will be as good as or better than who I was comparing them too. For all I know they could both be busts. I'm just saying AJ Green reminds me of Plexico or Rogers and Julio reminds me of TO. Don't see what is so confusing about that.

Also I said who knows who will be the better pro because honestly its hard to judge both of them until they are in an NFL offense with an NFL quarterback throwing to them.

I think Jones has more raw talent but Green seems alot more polished and NFL ready especially right now, but Jones hasn't been the man yet so maybe this year he will dominate but alot is gonna depend on his work ethic .
