kanye is a living legend, the guy is takin not only this genre but this world of music to new bounds...kanye west to hiphop is what jimi hendrix is to rock... this nigga kanye is a legend

Anyone thinking Nicki was going to outsell Ye is out of their minds. Ye is a lock for the #1 spot on Billboard 200, Rap and RnB Charts. Nicki will have a top 5 Debut but Ye is smashing the charts, his promotion is pretty damn good this time around also. Way better than the promotion he got for "808's and Heartbreak". The "Runaway Video" and "G.O.O.D. Fridays" are the reason for the high awareness of KanYe's album.

I'm looking forward to hearing this new Kayne album. This is the first time i actually anticipated a Kanye West album and it's looking like he's gonna bring some epic music to end the year.

Guys that "Hate" song on "Blueprint 3" was one of the worst songs Jay and KanYe have done together. Beat and song are annoying. This was a better Haters song from them:

"Some People Hate" - Jay Z (Produced By KanYe).

Also The "Runaway" extended video/film already has 2 million hits on Youtube in 1 day.

Being one of KanYe day 1 fans, I'm not shocked that he had a lot of gems early in his career. For those that don't know, KanYe offically started producing in 96' when he was 19 but didn't get his 1st placement until 98 when he was 21. I remember listening to KanYe back in 98 when I was just graduating high school and going to freshmen year of college. Amazing looking back cause I knew instantly that he was dope even though he was pretty unknown back then. These gems may surprise you but it was Ye' back in the day:

Made Men - Just You And I (Though this album was far from 4.5 Mics like Benzino gave it in the Source. The Production was actually solid on this and KanYe is one of the reasons why. He produced this gem and the remix to "Deja Vu")

Foxy Brown - My Life (This song Foxy talks about how her and Lil Kim were friend than became enemies. KanYe rips a gutair loop)

Goodie Mob - Rebuilding (KanYe showed his versitility early as he produced this southern track early in his career)

Harlem World featuring NaS and Carl Thomas (What's ironic about "Takeover" is KanYe actually worked with NaS before he worked with or met Jay Z. NaS was on some of KanYe's earliest tracks including "Poppa was a Playa" and "Turn It Out" on JD's album)

The Madd Rapper featuring Eminem (Listen to KanYe tell the story of this beat at the beginning of this song. Kanye worked with Eminem way back in 98 before he released his debut album)

What's amazing is KanYe was working with the Big Time artist early in his career. Check out his whole production Discography:

What's crazy about "Poppa Was A Playa" was I didn't know who produced it for years. I had it on my "I am Bootleg" in College in 99. That beat was so serious. Than when Lost Tapes came out, It said "Produced by D. Dot". Being a Biggie fan, I've always loved D. Dot's beats so I was floored by the way he flipped the sample. That same year D. Dot came out and admitted that KanYe "Ghost-Produced" the track and it all made sense. That's when I knew I was a KanYe fan from jump cause that "Poppa Was Playa" not being on "I am" upset me. KanYe is a genius.
