What you mean by characteristically 'West African', i don't think theres such thing, i've seen as many West African females with narrow noses and thin lips as well. Even in West Africa there are such peoples as the Fulani and Hausas who have what you would look at as 'Caucasian features'. But in a way i understand what you mean, some dudes would undoubtedly put them on a pedestal because they share some of the same features that their precious snowbunnies share, saying that a Somali woman looks nothing like a White Swedish woman to me, so at the same time i can't fully agree with your point.

And also even in Somalia as well there is alot of diversity, i've come across many Somalis with what you describe as 'West African' features.

Some black Americans are of Hausa and Fulani descent but we're still known for our full features for the most part.

There is something wrong with you if you think that there is a problem with being attracted to one group of black women over another type is problematic. Black is black. You talking about white supremacy and all that jazz, but it was white influence that pit one group of blacks over another and lead to that division. You chastising black people for giving props to other black people is essentially just buying into that whole divisive trick. Most phenotypes represented in humans in general are seen in blacks in Africa in some shape or form. So seeing black people, displaying phenotypic traits that are natural for them and suggesting that people who like those traits like them because they are "white" is stupid. I think Ethiopian women are beautiful. On the flip side there are very few white women I think are attractive.

I agree. I have met girls from several countries within the African continent and beauty is essentially universal (well, not all of them obvs). Egyptian women are bloody gorgeous but then so then so are Nigerian women, Somali women, Ghanaian women, I could go on. All the photos posted in this thread show that it's pretty pointless trying to argue whether being from North, South, East or West Africa means the women there are the best looking.
