I think... anyways, they're both talented and whilst Deacon's produced for the like of Immortal Technique, I'm surprised Kno hasn't been asked by the mainstream artists for a beat. He's so heavily slept on unless you're talking to an underground head or fan of A Piece of Strange.

It's a shame they couldn't all stay together as LB though... groups like that should never split permanently. Solo projects fine, but don't lose touch with those that came up with you, IMO.

Including their mixtapes.
It even showed on Leftback, the production was watered down.

That said, this is a great 9th Wonder track:

Really creative track and 9th never slipped up on the beats either!

Phonte was always the most talented though, I think after Connected it became obvious who the superstar of the group was and Nicolay is such a nice find from Phonte. Connected is one of the best releases of the 00's, IMO. It's deserving of a thread in fact, maybe one for the future :tu

Talks on real issues that affect couples but the production is flawless and carries the album, it's one of those albums that kinda stands on it's own. There hasn't been one before and there hasn't been one since.
Their follow ups are worth checking for, especially as you're an R&B Alternatives head. But they're different from Connected.
