Is California setting a good example for medical marijuana?

I've met a lot of medical marijuana patients, but less than half them are actually sick. and a few of the dispensaries and growers been robbed. is there more people exploiting the system than actually need it? Will this discourage other states from selling medical?

u sure bout that, i actually talked to a doctor bout this bout two weeks ago n he said its hard to get ppl medical marijuana becuz theres so much controversy n so much paper work for it that its not even worth it. i wish i could get medical tho

didnt stop michigan but certains drs are kinda fucking shit up buy writing anyone percriptions for money i mean i know 20 yr old kids with the card who are perfectly fine so the system is fucked up but its cool being able to get a bag of cronic whenever u want basicaly

IMO it's a good example. Most these places actually have a decent security set up(lots of businesses get robbed). U know what ur getting and for the most part alot of dispensaries are on point with their shit, way better then hitting up the pusha man.

Health and Safety Code Section 11362.5

Sec. (1) a-b The people of the State of California hereby find and declare that the purposes of the Compassionate Use Act of 1996 are as follows:

(A) To ensure that seriously ill Californians have the right to obtain and use marijuana for medical purposes where the medical use is deemed appropriate and has been recommended by a physician who has determined that the person's health would benefit from the use of marijuana in the treatment of cancer, anorexia, AIDS, chronic pain, spasticity, glaucoma, arthritis, migraine, or any other illness for which marijuana provides relief. <<< this means its up to the patient and Doc in which way MJ provides relief. U dont have to be dying to benefit from it and the severity of the illness is up to discretion similar to how cops have shit at their discretion. Just a legal loophole if u will to bypass the bs that has long been associated with MJ.

Cali Baucing. Up to an 1 oz is only a infraction now and that is for non med patients.

California is truly setting a good example. They are working with great compassion by treating patients who can be benefited from the use of medical marijuana.

Its kinda hard to get it here in MI still, you cant just say you got chronic migraines like in Cali

My homie got his by showing 2 of his doctors visits from High school when he broke his shoulder in football

thing is most of these people they rx to say they have mental illnesses like anxiety or drepression. that's why ppl like wiz have them, so yeah a large majority of people are exploiting the system
