I'll take it back further than that with R.O.A., Red Light District, Been Hated, and Birmingham J. R.O.A. almost signed with Black Market / Priority through Brotha Lynch Hung years back, but they kept goin to jail. Lynch dropped a verse on R.O.A.'s Ready 4 Anythang album.

I know he's from Bessemer, but I said Birmingham because most people outside of Alabama have never heard of Bessemer. There's a good chance they've heard of Birmingham though.

Atlanta is full of transplants anyway but in all fairness he hasnt really been that popular with actual rappers from here anyway outside of the one Big Boi track i believe.
