Every woman have her " preference". You should never bleach your skin, just because you think women might fine you attractive. Some black women go after light skin black men, just because they think their child will be light skin and pretty. It's straight ignorance to me. My preference is dark skin, but I wouldn't say I never would date a light skin guy. Just be you, and if she has a problem with your complexion, move and met a new women. Most likely their simple minded chicks anyways.

Lol I'm suprised this thread is still going. I still think its still more acceptable for black women to be color struck than men. I can't recall how many times I have heard a black women say; "the only thing a dark skin nigga can do for me is point me to a light skin nigga". I have heard so many things growing up. I was literally harassed by people because of my complexion. It left me having a deep resentment for light skin people despite having a lot of light skin people in my fam that I love to death. Its something that I'm working on. All that hatred I received as child left me with an extremely low self esteem and me feeling defective expecially in terms of romantic relationships. But I'm beginning to find my way as a man and beginning to move on. I have no choice but to so.

Black men in general are losers, and the dark skin ones have the most issues. I was on a line for the bus and this black (really BLACK) guy let this light skin fat girl go ahead of him. He was like "here sweetie you can go ahead of me" and this other girl (who was brown skinned) was about to go up the bus stairs too, but he intentionally jumped back right in front of her after the fat light skin girl went up the bus stairs. I knew he saw her about to go too.

LOL this fat light skin girl had a hispanic boyfriend, and the dark skin dude seemed extra mad on the bus when he saw this, he kept shouting at the bus driver to move faster and others around him.
