Can Reggie Bush be a 1000 yard RB as the feature Back..

I've always wanted to see if Reggie can be a real running back and get that century mark instead being a gadget receiver.. He rushed for 1000 twice or so at USC, though not the greatest inside tackles runner do u think he can If healthy get to a 1000 yards rushing.. he has never had over 575 and I'm hearing they are looking to make Bush the starting tailback... Can he man up and be a real RB?

    1,000 yards isn't even impressive anymore in a 16 game season

    thats only 62.5 Rushing yards per game ....


    Rather see him be a guy with a higher Yards per game , somewhere in the 75-80 range , that be more impressive (cuz u know he's gonna get hurt and probably not play all 16)

    but real Low 1,000 yard season aint that impressive to me if a guy is barely scratchin past 60 rushing yards a game.

    After Reggie being on my team all these years I could maybe see him only doing it one time. If reggie runs up the middle more than 3x in one game he gonna get injured. Frail ass nigga

    running for a thousand yards really isn't that big of a deal
    doing it for mltple years back to back is bigger
    like dude said earlier, thats only 60+ yards a game
    20 carries for about 3 yards per carry for 16 games is a easy 1000

    1300 rushing yards would have him within top five yards most likely for a season, thats 80 yards a game for a full 16 games

    idk if bush has it in him to pull off a top 10 rushing yards performance but 1000 yards? maybe...

    Nobody said it was the most important thing so stop bytchin... I asked a question can he be a 1000 yard back... No matter what u sayin a thousand is still the main benchmark for every running back.. they still playing 16 games so what's the diff.. u have ur CJ's and A.P.'s but for Bush getting 1000 rushing yards on about a 4.5 or 5 ypc would tell me if Reggie can handle the ball more.. He actually didn't get enough touches in New Orleans if u wanna be real... Like I said in the first place, IF HE'S HEALTHY for a full season can he get over the century mark.. he might be the next Marshall Faulk for Miami.. We really can't just say he cant .. I think the best is yet 2 come if he's focused and ready to step up..

    Ur tellin me if Reggie didn't double his best year practically in Rushing and actually showed he could run the rock it wouldn't mean nothing... Reggie really hasn't even got a fair shot at playin rb..he has been brittle but if he has 1000-1100 rush yards to go with his 400 or 500 rec yards that's complete running back numbers

    Quick Question tho' how did u manage to get confused in your own thread, Your Opening post and thread title states Rushing Yards, and you eliminated the "Receiving" Factor yourself and said Can he man up and be a real RB? and not just a gadget "Receiver"

    then later on in the thread you said "Well if he goes on to do 1,000 yards with 500 + Receiving yards" he'd be this and that, but yet your question is strictly about "Rushing Yards"

    it's like your crossing yourself over with a basketball on some stephen curry shit

    You Can't Eliminate "Gadget Reciever" in your opening post then later on go back to it , that aint what you originally asked, u asked about running between the tackles and rushing yards.

    maybe but it's not likely given bush's track record. Hit him hard enough and he's sitting. 15 touches a game for 4.5 not inclding recieving for a guy who hasn't played a full season in 4 years and never has had a 1000 yard season before seems unlikely. 1000 isn't a huge deal but dude never has even had 800 yards. Id say at a minumum he'd have to get 20 carries a game he'll 230+ carries this next season, do you think he could run the ball for an entire season without somekind of injury?

    Hell no he's not a 1000yds back.

    Then again with about 16 games its possible, so 1000yds isnt what it used to be but i still doubt him.

    his only full 16 game season was his rookie year and at best he got 700 yards...idk if he'll even be a feature back on the dolphins, i say at best he hits 700 if he really plays the entire season
