Looks like they went the comic route with the premiere episode, probably because Robert Kirkman wrote it. I thought it was a really good premiere, the tension and the appearance of the Walkers in the first half of the episode was perfect to get people back into the thick of things.

very good premiere.

loved the tension built with the horde on the highway scene.

but for the love of God could they just kill T-Dog already. He is a complete waste and horrible charcter.

Daryl is that dude this season.. how quickly he act to kill the walker and save him and t-dogg from being caught.. cutting open the walker and tracking the girl. I'm liking the redneck more than last season already.

Shane better smash Andrea.. shiiiiit.

That subject hasn't been touched on that much, I don't think they can smell any better than they could when they were living. Probably just that if they approach something and it smells rotten, then they wont eat it.

But there must be some other factors that lets them tell the living from the dead apart, because they wont eat a human who has recently become a zombie and hasn't started to decompose yet. Then again, I think it takes 1-2 days for someone to become a zombie after death.

Remember in the first season when Rick and the chinaman put that zombie innards on them to get the truck. They walked right past them until the rain washed it away and the zombies zeroed in on them. And also I didnt think they were supposed to touch the blood or they'd get infected that way.

Not true, because two main characters from the comic Tyrese, and Micohnne are coming soon and they are fan favorites. They are both black.

He lives. In the comics he did anyway. Shit got worse for him in the comics as of right now. Read Wikipedia to see what I'm talking about.

It's fun to read the comics (or I like to read the graphic novels) and then compare it to the show. The show is different but the same.

Shane was killed early in the comics, so it's going to be be weird seeing him talk to Hershel in next week's episode.

I'm new to this show... I just caught some of the 1st season yesterday

I'm a little confused by the 'dead' dead people in their cars. I thought they would've been turned. Was this explained in S1?

I wonder why they don't look for more practical vehicles. The motorcycle is fuel efficient, but isn't it too loud? The RV always needs repairing.

if theyre turned the brain is still alive, it just has basic instincts (eat) they need living food to sustain their life
