MAN SHOT IN HEAD THE SECOND TIME IN TWO MONTHS
Niagara Falls police detectives are investigating another shooting in the city — this time in the 3200 block of Highland Avenue.
Police responded to the call around 11 p.m. Wednesday and found a male victim bleeding from the head. He told officers he was sitting in his vehicle when he heard a gun shot and a bullet broke through his windshield and struck him above his left eye.
The victim was taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center where he reportedly was hostile and verbally abusive to medical staff there. He was treated and released.
Wednesday night was the second time in less than two months the victim has been shot. On Jan. 23, a bullet grazed the top of his skull during a shooting outside of a restaurant in the 1400 block of Main Street.
