Nas Sells First-Ever Painting For $14,000 During Concert

During a performance at Ricochet Lounge in Miami, Florida for Art Basel Miami 2011, Nas painted his first-ever picture, stopping the performance to auction off the work for $14,000.

The Queensbridge rapper picked up a brush during "Made You Look" and tested his artistic hand, resulting in a portrait of a man smoking a joint. After the performance, Esco auctioned the piece for charity, with the winning bid coming in at $14,000.

Sure Jay had hard beats in his early career and The Hit Squad laced Jay with AG but I find it funny for a Camel Jockey to exaggerate about Nas' beat selection (people really blow his production way out of proportion)....

Nas sold a painting he made in less than 5 minutes, on the spot, while rapping, for 14K. Nas could take a shit at a concert and sell it for a couple Gs... Damn.
