kobe's funny... acting like he's disappointed at losing a friend in LO. He disappointed that nothing came back to the Lakers! It was the reporters that prodded Kobe to talk about Lamar's character and contribution to the team.

On that Friday of the first day of practice Kobe was all straight-faced, and "do your job" with regards to Lamar feeling backstabbed by the organization. He looked more pissed that the trade didnt happen, than at the fact that Lamar was being traded.

Kobe woulda been smiling ear to ear had Paul made it to the team.

Kobe was prolly the one pushing for this trade to become 'more competitive'. Lakers are acting like LO was the reason they got swept by the Mavs.. No... the reason was a total lack of leadership from 24 as he packed it in after that Game 2 loss

He's pouring it on with the "I lost a friend bit". That has nothing to do with anything. If they would have gotten Paul, there'd be no word of friend Lamar, with all the talk about Kobe-Paul combo.

could be....but most likely not if u know anything about LA mitch is gonna do what mitch is gonna do and paul was too much to pass up..plus lakers brass didnt like what they saw in that dallas series

pau is actually the problem..that nigga caved in during the playoffs(hence the reason they were trying to ship him) odom was just thrown in there to sweeten the deal...gasol and lack of defense is the reason dallas punked them

u said the reporters asked him the question, so he answered teh question regarding what lamar has been to the team in recent years...whats wrong with that?

lol nope. niggas who hate kobe, its so personal to them, so no matter what he gon be wrong. any little thing that happen they find a way to make it kobe fault. derrick rose win the mvp... kobe sucks. lebron flopped hard in the finals, they couldnt wait to talk about kobe. trade falls thru because stern vetoes it... kobe did it

You put up Gasol and Odom for a trade, it doesn't fall through, you try to take it back but Odom doesn't want to. Wonder how Gasol feels.

It's a huge fail to say we wanted CP3 and not get him. Even worse we won't even get Howard.
