I stopped listening to Hot 97 when they took off Evil Dee on Sunday nights back in the day. Right now its only my Ipod or sports talk.

I can't even relly bring myself to listen to the radio anymore. The only time I do is when im ridin around in the whip, and even then I find myself either changing the station or puttin a mixtape in.

havent listened to it since like 08. i used to burn cd's, then i gotta ipod, then i used pandora, now i gotta sd card on my phone. i hear it occassionally when i drive in my moms car, but i can honestly say i dont listen to it more than once a month.

very rarely but last time i heard the radio it was like a oldschool hip hop noon playlist and they were playing outkast , nas, jay and all they older stuff so the radio wasn't bad that day

Don't mean to plug, but I got a internet radio show called "Unknown Radio" that come on every Tuesday from 4-6pm cst at wcsu.csu.edu (click listen live). I play shit that's not on the radio, but it's still good music. And we shout out allhiphop for the rumors at 4:30. Me and my co-host Ms. Kakes be acting an ass in the studio and on air.

The crazy thing is, I go to school so I can work in radio someday, but I can't listen to commercial radio. I'd rather do sports talk or behind the boards as a producer.

Nothing wrong with that. My comment was basically just do you. I turn the radio on atleast once a week but never can make it pass 3 songs in a row. I have a 3 song rule. If they don't play something I really want to hear in 3 songs I am back to my cave. Why sit there and waste time waiting on the 1 or 2 radio songs you want to hear?

I listen to more underground rap tho. Specifically I still listen to Squeeze radio 89.9fm Fridays 1am- 5am (the old Stretch & Bobbito show for those that know)... over the years they had different hosts ( J love, Susio Smash, etc).
