I watch the kids at my kids school and think, "damn, bunch of fatties". There was this kid who had no neck and was breathing hard as fuck just walking. Sick and sad shit, parents don't know how to simply say NO.

Not only that, but kids don't even play outside like they used to. I remember playing outside damn near all day if I didn't have school, now with technology, you gotta drag a kid outside.

    True dat.

I honestly don't care about what's effecting whites, my concern is with my own people first and foremost.

High blood-pressure, heart trouble, diabetes, obesity...we need to leave the grease and the pig alone, stop frying everything and bake them meals.

The means of changing this is out there and available to pretty much everybody. You can get a gym membership for as low as $10 a month. If they choose not to change it, it's on them. When I realized I was gaining weight, I quickly changed my eating habits and started exercising more. It's not rocket science and unless they have thyroid problems or some other health issue that's preventing them from losing weight, they have no excuse.

its deeper than that or everyone would be in shape...

Ha ha.Yeah right. It sounds like you're trying to give people an excuse. For some it may be deeper, while others its pure laziness and lack of caring as well as some people like being fat.

It's not easy getting in shape or changing your eating habits. It takes self-control, determination etc. but it's possible for a lot of people that contribute to the obesity percentage.

Sheeiiiiiitttttttt. Back when I was a kid, I use to be outside till 10pm every day during the summertime. Like, I used to ride my bike in the woods with friends till it got pitch black.

    word...

many impoverished, predominantly black neighborhoods do not even have an accessible grocery store with affordable, healthy foods... and a lot of people are stressed and struggling just to live working 2,3 jobs and or raising kids/going to school so driving 10 miles just to find a kroger or w/e and than cooking a meal can be a hassle when you just order a pizza for $5 instead...

i grew up in pontiac, mi outside of detroit and there was literally only one grocery store in within 10 miles of my house and that store was ghetto as hell

also it doesn't help fast-food companies gear most of their marketing efforts toward minority communities... have you noticed the hip-hop music being played during many of the commercials by McDonald's, Burger King, and Kentucky Fried Chicken? lol... just think there's a fast food spot on every corner in the inner city offering hamburgers for a dollar. not to mention its been proven that highly processed foods like big mac and such have been scientifically proven to be highly addictive

Its socioeconomics. Fattest states are usually the poorest. People cant afford to cook frequently, don't have many options, and/or have no time between working blue collar/menial jobs and possibly raising a family.

Wierd because poor people in other countries don't become obese.
    you can't that dense

poor people/food in other countries = lack of resources

poor people/food in this country = lack of options

    you're comparing apples to oranges
