    The same thing you say about soccer not having one league is the same thing about hockey, you have the NHL and you have those European leagues. Plus the EUFA Champions League is somewhat organize and you have Euro where the different leagues do play each other. When does the NHL teams ever play any European league winners?

    okay in that case cheerleaders are athletes to because they go on football fields during halftime lmaoo c'mon son. And hockey is not a rich kids sport everywhere. Most people from the northern us and canada come from small towns with low incomes. Its only a rich kid sport out west and down south. Crosby was from some bum ass small town and wasn't stacked with paper.

    The Champions league has too many filler teams and again quality players are spread out over teams with limited over all talent. The NHL has the best players period since the collapse of the soviet union and you cant say one league in soccer has all of the best players. NHL teams don't play european winners because the NHL has the top players in the world period.

    Look at the last olympics...for the first time the best teams were those with the most NHL players because now the best players aren't playing in side russian leagues.

    I'm speaking as a whole, soccer is deeper across the world. You're acting like the worst player in the Champions league isn't better than everyone else in the world, a lot of those clubs just don't have the money of a Man U, Barcelona,etc.

    The NHL is a damn near fringe league in America and you got the nerve talk about it being better than soccer and Champions League.

    Lol you the nigga talking about figure skating =hockey but im glad you see how rediculous you sounded then after reacting to cheerleaing being athleteic. Im not talking about world wide popularity im talking about the point of this fourum which is in america how both sports fair.

    NBA playoff ratings and attendance is lower than select NHL markets i.e. boston. And in cities like chicago and washington and new york and boston people are filling up the arena more for NHL games than the NBA. And ratings wise from an american perspective the stanley cup finals does better than any american soccer playoff game does.
