It's Nas so people will just post the word GOAT regardless but this track is ass for someone that people on sites like this claim is lyrically untouchable. Still one of my favorites but this is so mediocre.

I think people expecting too much for this track, singles are singles, there are never great song. Singles are dumb down tracks that can possible get radio play and are pushed by the labels. On the actually album you get the great tracks and classic lines people quote and talk about. This single is aight to me, Nas always stays on point lyrically, and the beat isn't as bad as yall making it out to be. Nas has picked a lot worst beats in the past if yall remember.
