I felt Mosley won that fight. He got the decision in his hometown just like the Clotty fight. What does Floyd have to do with Cotto running? The second Marg fight dont count to me. Mosley koed him then Manny broke his eye.... And to be real Marg was coming on strong when his eye closed.

I honestly dont think they should of stopped the Margarito fight either but hey he got the dub for it... and Floyd being brought up was cuz of the Manny situation... but realistically if you get hit with a punch anyone would use their boxing skill and play the ring to try and recover.... Mayweather was running that whole Diego Corrales (RIP) fight and he wasnt hurt in that one lol

Cotto could have just been using his speed/boxing iq to beat him which I feel he did and was successful at... it did look at times like he wanted no parts of getting hit by him tho lol

i like the faith in cotto, but let's not get too carried away here....
cotto definitely moves better in the ring after being humbled twice... call it running if you want, but he moves better in the ring.....

that will serve him well against Floyd....i think it will be much more competitive than it woulda been 8 years ago because of that addition to his skillset.... but i don't think it will be enough....

and as far as chico/floyd...

it's not running when you're still punching.....that's a set up for a good counter..

the thing that stops cotto is cotto

in all the fights he lost it was because he could not impose his will on the other fighter and didnt know what to do after that. he is not a fighter that will dig deep and go balls out to get the win.

he even said in an interview that he will not put himself in danger to win....which sound stupid if your a boxer..

think about when he quit against margo...what did he say....i dont want to hurt myself, i have a family....but fukk the family as long as you win?

for this reason cotto is a joke to me
