Piers Morgan: And you know what @SamNasri19 ? Arteta's a better No8 for us than you ever were. #Arsenal

Nasri: @piersmorgan u should learn french cause the manager who make miracle is french the best scorer of the arsenal history is french

Nasri: And the last guy who lift a trophy for the club is french as well

Damn, tough loss for City. Balotelli is out the rest of the season huh? As it has been said, he needs to get it together. I think Pizarro should be given a start, he seems to be gelling with the team, making quality passes and such. Him on the field at the same time with Tevez and Aguero would be great. Whenever we get Silva back from injury and Yaya is 100% healthy, the City attack would be formidable. It's not over, I haven't given up hope.

Next three games for City should be W's- Wednesday home versus WBA, Saturday at Norwich, and two weeks from today at Wolves. Got the Manchester derby at the end of the month at the Etihad, need to be with 9 more points heading into that game.
Stop hating 'Young' I know you flaged that last comment lol

I didn't flag your comment, I would tell you if I had done it. Smh at you adding the spoiler tag to that comment, you should say that outright if you really believe your team can win the title... guess you don't.

John Obi Mikel was at Utd for a while...He was there on trial...We'd actually bought him...But Chelsea usurped the transfer

With Dempesey in the lineup, Arsenal's attack would be formidable, and problematic for defenses

Canaries have Reds in their sights
    April 10, 2012

    By ESPNsoccernet staff

Norwich City midfielder Anthony Pilkington is hoping the Canaries can cap a hugely successful return to the Premier League by finishing above 18-times champions Liverpool.

Promoted Norwich were one of the favourites to be relegated at the start of the season but re-emphasised their top-flight credentials on Monday when they became the only club other than Manchester United and Manchester City to win at Tottenham.

Pilkington, who scored the opener in the 2-1 win at White Hart Lane, is delighted that his team have proved the doubters wrong this year and now hopes they can climb above Kenny Dalglish's Liverpool, who are level on 43 points with a game in hand, by the end of the season.

"All the pundits were talking about us finishing bottom of the league so to finish above Liverpool would be unheard of, wouldn't it?'' Pilkington said.

"I'm from Blackburn-way, up in the north-west, and that would be a great scalp.''

Manager Paul Lambert has rightly earned much praise for the way he has guided his team into the top half of the table after successive promotions.

Perhaps the most impressive part of the Scot's management has been the way he has helped the likes of Pilkington, a summer signing from Huddersfield, to adapt to the rigours of top-flight football with ease.

Another unknown who has excelled in the Premier League after being plucked from League One is winger Elliott Bennett, who thumped home a blistering 20-yard drive to give the Canaries the three points at Spurs.

The 23-year-old, signed from Brighton last June with no experience of playing in the Championship, yet alone the Premier League, thinks the win over Spurs proves Norwich are a real force to be reckoned with.

"It was a performance no-one expected,'' the midfielder said. "It proved we don't want to go anywhere and get our tummies tickled by the big boys. We want to show we can compete at the highest level. It's a brilliant feeling.

"The fans have been waiting for us to get a big scalp and we did that at White Hart Lane.''

Norwich will not have to wait long for a chance to prove that they are again capable of upsetting the biggest names in the league as they face Manchester City at Carrow Road on Saturday.

    Balotelli says sorry
    April 9, 2012

    By ESPNsoccernet staff
Mario Balotelli has apologised for the red card he received against Arsenal and confirmed he will hold talks with Manchester City over his future at the end of the season.

Balotelli's eventful City career took another twist on Sunday as he was handed his marching orders in the latter stages of City's 1-0 loss that handed their rivals Manchester United an eight-point lead at the summit.

The striker was fortunate not be given a straight red card by referee Martin Atkinson in the first half after he caught Alex Song with a dangerous challenge, and it is anticipated the Football Association will hand him a retrospective ban.

City boss Roberto Mancini said after the game that he will "probably" sell Balotelli in the summer after being let down by the Italian on a number of occasions, and the forward has reacted by apologising for his actions.

"I'm really sorry for what happened, for the disappointment I've given to Man City and, particularly, to Roberto Mancini, for whom I have a great respect and who I love," Balotelli told Ansa news agency.

"As for my future, we will see at the end of the season. I'll talk with the club and we will see."

Balotelli, 21, is also hopeful that his latest red card will not cost him a place in Cesare Prandelli's Italy squad for this summer's European Championship.

Prandelli dropped the player for the February friendly against the USA after Balotelli was hit with a ban for stamping on Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Scott Parker in January.

Balotelli added: "I'm really keen to play for the national team. I made two fouls in the game. I've already lost out on the national team for one bad thing, I wouldn't do it for a second time."

He could get a 9 match ban smh

LMAO at that Nasri pic, why y'all hatin though, he isn't from London, hell not even England/UK, why would he give a damn about Arsenal when he can make twice/triple the amount at City? fuck that loyalty non-sense, don't hate on the bro gettin moneyyyyyy

lol at Malaga now at third place, cats will be playing in the CL next year if they keep this up, Juventus top of the league with no defeat...

anyway, some great decisive football matches coming up tomorrow

Dortmund vs. Bayern (Dortmund is top of the table, 3 point clear of Bayern)

Eredivisie wise we've got the top 6 competing, Heereveen vs. Ajax, AZ vs Twente, PSV vs. RKC, Feyenoord vs. Roda, shits gonna be epic.

I think I'll watch the Dortmund game, a win could very well seal the league title for them. That and of course the City-WBA game

He's doing well, still needs to work on his technique/first touch and goal scoring but he keeps defenders busy. He plays like 50/50 of the matches for AZ, fighting with Benschop(who is more of a striker) for a starting line up.

So far, he is bound to be a Eredivisie player for life lol, so he isn't doing that well now that I think about it, but dude is improving so who knows.
