LMAO at that Nasri pic, why y'all hatin though, he isn't from London, hell not even England/UK, why would he give a damn about Arsenal when he can make twice/triple the amount at City? fuck that loyalty non-sense, don't hate on the bro gettin moneyyyyyy

lol at Malaga now at third place, cats will be playing in the CL next year if they keep this up, Juventus top of the league with no defeat...

anyway, some great decisive football matches coming up tomorrow

Dortmund vs. Bayern (Dortmund is top of the table, 3 point clear of Bayern)

Eredivisie wise we've got the top 6 competing, Heereveen vs. Ajax, AZ vs Twente, PSV vs. RKC, Feyenoord vs. Roda, shits gonna be epic.

How's Jozy Altidore playing out there

He's doing well, still needs to work on his technique/first touch and goal scoring but he keeps defenders busy. He plays like 50/50 of the matches for AZ, fighting with Benschop(who is more of a striker) for a starting line up.

So far, he is bound to be a Eredivisie player for life lol, so he isn't doing that well now that I think about it, but dude is improving so who knows.

Word...dude couldn't get off the bench at Villareal

Yeah Jozy was a fuckin' myth for Hull...That bein' said, if you're a striker..you don't go on loan to any club battlin' relegation

    That Yakubu penalty was awful.

As soon as I seen his run up I knew he was going to miss it.
  • Well at least he's made up for it now. 2-1.

Duff justice: Balotelli's horror tackle goes unpunished but Derry's ban stands

English football's disciplinary system was shown to be a joke after Mario Balotelli escaped punishment for a horror tackle - minutes after Shaun Derry's appeal against a controversial red card was thrown out.

Manchester City striker Balotelli, sent off against Arsenal on Sunday, was braced for a lengthy ban after the challenge on Alex Song left stud marks on the Arsenal player's shin.

Despite video evidence suggesting he was unsighted, referee Martin Atkinson told FA officials he had seen the incident, which meant they were unable to take retrospective action.

Atkinson failed even to award Arsenal a free-kick. The challenge led to widespread condemnation and, after the match, City manager Roberto Mancini indicated he expected Balotelli to be punished heavily.

To make matters worse, the FA decided to uphold QPR midfielder Derry's red card in Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Manchester United.

Referee Lee Mason said Derry had brought down an offside Ashley Young in the area even though replays showed minimal contact.

Derry misses the game against Swansea and a QPR source said: 'The game's gone crazy. How does Shaun get a ban for virtually tapping Ashley Young on the shoulder and Balotelli is let off for nearly breaking someone's leg?'

Balotelli would have been banned for nine games if the FA had punish him retrospectively.

An FA statement said: 'Where at least one official has seen the coming together, retrospective action is not taken regardless of whether they have seen the full extent of the challenge.' City coach David Platt and United scout Martin Ferguson were in Portugal on Monday to watch Benfica's Axel Witsel and Javier Garcia against Sporting Lisbon.

City fury as late start draws bigger UEFA fine than Porto racism

Manchester City are furious with UEFA for fining them £25,000 for being late onto the pitch for a Europa League tie.

City are amazed the penalty imposed on them, for being no more than a minute late onto the pitch at Sporting Lisbon, is more than Porto were fined for their fans' racist chants towards Mario Balotelli.

Porto were fined just £17,600 by UEFA after City striker Balotelli was subjected to monkey chants from some sections of fans at the Estadio Do Dragao ground in the last 32 tie on February 16.

City made a formal complaint to UEFA in the wake of the episode, with the Portuguese club being hit with the paltry fine, which amounted to little more than a rap across the knuckles.

Now City officials are said to be "bemused" that they have been fined more than Porto, after their players were late onto the pitch for the second-half of their last 16 tie in Lisbon on March 8.

UEFA today confirmed the fine imposed on City, by their control and disciplinary committee, for "a late kick-off", but refused to comment on why the penalty was more than Porto received for their fans making racist taunts.

That's why I don't listen to FIFA or UEFA about they are trying to get rid of racism. All they do is give out small fines when they need to make an example out of teams and kick them out of Europe. But they can give out a bigger fine for coming out onto the pitch a minute late.

Pele says Lionel Messi isn't the best player in the world today -- much less of all time.

Pele said Wednesday that young Brazilian striker Neymar is better than the Argentina forward, and reiterated that he doesn't think Messi belongs in the conversation about who is the best player ever.

That debate has long centered around Pele and Diego Maradona, but many have started including Messi after a series of outstanding performances with Barcelona.

Pele, however, said at an event celebrating the centennial of Neymar's club Santos that "there's always this Maradona comparison, saying that he's better than Pele. Now some are saying that Messi is better than Pele. Well, he has to be better than Neymar first, which he isn't yet. He has more experience."

The 20-year-old Neymar is seen as Brazil's greatest player at the moment.
