One is female and one is male...I think the incubus is the male counterpart...they normally attack while people sleep. Draining life force or having sexual intercourse to drain life force. Same thing as Lillith, who is a demon who preys upon young boys. Supposedly the story is that Lillith was before Eve. But Lillith was not created from the wound of man, she was created as such as Adam. When Adam looked to have intercourse with, he wanted her to lay on her back which she refused. Being so she was created in the same manner he was, she felt she shouldn't have to "bow down" in a sense. So she left the garden of eden and Adam told God what happened. Three angels went after her to bring her back. She refused. Thus she was she was cursed. Now as vengeance she preys upon young males to consume their life energy. The three angels who went after her is often found on necklaces worn by young boys placed on them by parents who believe that story..
