Honestly Im not down at all. Life is good, Im blessed. And Im very intelligent, it has nothing to do with smarts. Child Support laws in this country are ridiculous. At least in my state, trust that Ive been there and done that, like I mentioned my son is now 4, I've been down that road one too many times. A man will not win a child support case verse a woman anywhere in the tri state area, its just not happening. Ive heard myths and all the urban legends about men having they girl on child support, or winning a judgement against the mother of their child, Ive even heard mention of it in this thread, but its all false. It aint going down like that around here.

But we getting further and further away from the point, fact of the matter is Im going to be around for my son regardless, whether im on child support or not, Im still going to provide an exceptional life for him no matter what. Im still going to see him regardless. Im just also going to do whatever I want in the process, including but not limited too staying out all nite and having diva friends. And I do love and care for my son's mother, I show it by sticking with her through all of her craziness. Even when she got me on child support. When I made this thread I wanted to see if there was anyone else out there that had experienced or even heard of anything like this before, and the answer is no which brings me to my whole case and point: Im obviously the best thing that ever happen to you, you need to act like it or you are going to lose me to someone else. And Until you get me off child support, which is clearly unheard of in our situation, Im going to do whatever I want as far as my approach to our relationship.

You paying bills at that house? Get your name on something to show that you live there. It's no way in hell any judge will rule in her favor if you show that your paying bills and live in the same house as your child. That's child support. Men getting full custody and making women pay child support isn't a myth. That's a fact because a friend of mine does this with his baby mamma. Shit Dwayne Wade has custody of his kids. It's definately not an easy task though. From what you're saying, you and ol' girl had ya ups and downs but she knows you'll do anything for ya seed so she's using that as leverage. But if you're staying at the house for free or extremely cheap then nevermind, she got you. It seems like you gave up though.

I did show up but we werent living together at the time...

Here's a little backstory. Our relationship would best be described as on again off again. My son is now 4. When he was 4 months; after 4 months of arguing and going back and forth, I mention to her via telephone that I still want a paternity test. She tells me ok she's putting me on child support. Straight like that. I always believed it was to spite me. Till this day I dont know her exact reasoning. But me and my entire family have been there throughout the pregnancy and my son's entire life. Anyway I wasnt living with her at that time... She filed for child support that day... Its my junior. I started messing with her again exactly one year later, june my son was one and a half, we moved in togther. She never took me off since.

I stayed out all nite last saturday, the nite before easter. She is still bringing it up now 2 weeks later. I dont think she has a reasn too. Anything I do is justified and null and void because of her aforementioned actions.

How do niggas still fuck with a bitch after that (the bolded) ? A bitch put me on child support, I ain't fuckin' with her.

And how niggas still support their kid (otherwise) and pay child support to the system ? It's a lose-lose situation.

She don't have time?? I would make her make some time to go to the courthouse if I were you. Pick a day and tell her ya'll going down there or there will be no progression in your relationship.

Are you with her because you love her or because of your son? If it's latter and she knows this, she may be keeping that order just in case you leave her.

well my husband's baby mama took him off of child support (cuz his son was with him) and it took like an hour at the courthouse. she's draggin her feet cuz she doesn't wanna take you off.

and if the bolded is so important to you, why don't you marry her so y'all can be an actual family?

i never understand how people can have kids with and live with someone, but getting married is somehow too much

the situation maybe different, but the solution is the same. she can go file the paperwork to take you off of child support today if she wanted to, there's really not much to it.

It's not going to happen unless YOU take action

oh and it's not illegal to get support when both parents live together ... she's not going to jail . You have just as much as a duty as she does to inform the courts of your situation.
