didn't want to derail shorty thread....

basically i wanna ask....if your boy cheats on his girl....and you don't cheat on yours.....

do you still hang out with him???

i ask because i stopped hanging around a lotta my homeboys that cheat on their girls real heavy once i started getting really serious in my own relationship...

now this wasn't outta no pressure from her, but it was simply because i could see that they didn't give a fuck about what they were doing when they were out, and i couldn't adapt that kind of mindset...

i felt more and more awkward....

we hit up a sports bar, and them niggaz is obviously trying to holla at some chicks, and i'm laid back just being chill...i felt like i was fucking up the flow...it got to the point where i either hang out with dudes who keep it 100% faithful... or hang out with some of my boys who just don't be thirty at all when they go out....

Sounds kind of weak-minded. If you ain't a "cheater" then you probably won't cheat. It's understandable if you said that you stopped putting yourself in the situation to resist temptation but that doesn't mean you have to stop hanging with them completely unless all y'all did was going on the hunt for females.

For me being around your friend's s/o when you know the dirt they're doing is the most awkward. Like how can you watch someone be all lovey dovey with their boyfriend/husband when you know a couple nights before she left with another dude when it was girl's night out....

either i'm not clearly explaining this, or yall not getting what i'm saying.....

what you do in your relationship, is your business.....i don't directly care or get involved for the most part....

however those things might have a minor impact on certain aspects of our friendship if we're really close.....

how can i talk to my homeboy about different things i'm going through to take care of home, if he doesn't give a fuck about taking care of home?? he can't relate....that's not a priority to him....so to him...he's looking at it like some sucker shit...

i mean i know my boys.....they in that whatever happens, happens mode all the time...and my priorities have changed, so sometimes i find it more awkward than usual when hanging out with them..
