Dogg Food was ahead of its time only because the west coast at that point was more about the vibe. Dogg Food had that west coast vibe, but on the real. Them niggas was SPITTIN especially on Doggz Day Afternoon, I mean. The best lyricism from west coast Mcs to that point since D.O.C., Dogg Food was slept on.

Apples to oranges...

War Report is one of the most underrated street albums ever, and Dogg Food was just a West coast G-Funk album with Snoop's proteges. I own both and they're both great in the own right, but War Report is better imo because of how authentic it sounds.

Don't sleep on that Dogg Food!!! I loved both albums when they first dropped...Listened to them equally...Honestly That War Report affected me more but now that I reflect, Dogg Food has a slight edge...Don't get it fucked up tho War Report is that shit....

kinda disagree with that statement... like i said earlier, listen to war report and then listen to every verse nore dropped afterwards you can tell tragedy wrote his shit on the war report... still a fucking classic though

I'm not understanding why people are saying war report easily. I think its Doggfood easily. Kurupt verse on doggs day afternoon, doggpound gangstaz, and ny ny>>> anything lyrically on war report.
