They've been milking it yeah, but nobody ain't got tired of the shit yet apparently, cause these games still sell ridiculous...

I give Activision a matter of time before they pull a Guitar Hero on CoD and start putting out 8 or 9 of them shits a year tho, effectively killing the franchise.....

and the entire first person military shooter genre itself.....They single-handedly killed the entire music game genre with thier 12 Guitar Hero games a year...I can see them doing the same thing with CoD.

These Strike Force missions gonna be a fucking problem B.

Strike Force Operations “have a very meaningful influence on how the story progresses,” says Dave Anthony. In these missions, you choose which mission to play and who to play within them – you can swap people within the squad, or you can also just control the drones — be the quadrotor, if you want – or you can be in Overwatch mode and control from a top-down perspective, almost like a tactical strategy game. But at any point, you can pick a soldier on the field and zoom in instantly to take their place. These are open sandbox levels with clear goals — the one I saw took place on the Singapore docks, clearing out defenses so that a gunship could come in to destroy the place — but Strike Force Operations are not linear, so if you replay it, it will be different. Mark Lamia cites these as an example of “the team wanting to give the player new experiences inside the campaign. On every single front, the team is not resting on its laurels.”

Every past Call of Duty game has featured a rigidly linear single-player campaign. They've gotten shorter and shorter as the years have gone by, too—the last few games have featured campaigns that have lasted merely 4-6 hours.

Treyarch is aiming to change that with Black Ops II with the inclusion of "Strike Force," a new, open-ended game-mode that's folded into the single-player campaign.

The story is was written from the ground up by Dark Knight and Batman Begins co-writer David Goyer. Goyer joined the first Black Ops part of the way through. He wanted to "create a memorable villain" with Martinez.
