If you're talking about style then Pimp C, but if you're talking about pure lyrical content Scarface and it's not even close.

Face is my favorite rapper ever, hence my S/N. But Pimp C makes the smoothest hooks in hip hop history. That damn swishas and dosha is like a high in itself, and the Pimp is real as fuck, sometimes to a fault, we could use a nigga like that in hip hop right now. You can't lose either way.

this sounds like a shadyteam inspired thread....
but i'll play along...pimp c sucked at rap but being that he was nowhere close to an artist as face, his production was cool yet ugk as a whole wasn't that impressive...they're at the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to rap duos....and comparing to face is blasphemy....

Both are legends in the south whether you like they're music or not. Face was and is the much better rapper but I was always a pimp fan for his hooks, honesty and his production. Pimp is a southern legend, fans always talk shit lol but rappers always show love and give respect....

Pimp C never needed to be lyrical, that's what Bun was for. As far as style though, Pimp C got that shit by a mile. Scarface is cold, but he ain't got the charisma Pimp had.

Face is one of the all time greats, but Pimp C stood up for Texas in a bigger way and had some of the greatest quotes on and off the mic.
