And maybe keep Lin as a back up for next season. Honestly they should build the team around Melo's offense and Tyson's Defense.

As a Knick fan.. I dont think they bring back Fields.. He is a free agent this summer. Amare's contract is too big to move.. The Knicks need to keep the team as it is.. If they get anybody it should guys with more of a defensive mindset... And if they change anything it should be the Coach.. Woody coaches excellent D.. But his offense leaves a lot to be desired..

try and trade for boozer (similar dough and worth the risk if you chicago) the knicks get a better shooter who can stay out the lane, win win
try and convince the nets to trade deron williams on a sign and trade
try and sue amare out of his contract and have free agent dough for the summer to go after dwight or d-will (yeah fuckin right, but hey a nigga can dream)

Knicks need to run an offense like the triangle where Melo ain't dominating the ball and stoping the movement. Problem with the Knicks is not Amare, it's Melo and his lack of ability to impact the game without him dominating the ball. If his lazy ass played defense he could get easy points that way too.

Woody is an excellent coach. No one can teach that offense with Amare and Melo on the floor to successfully and efficiently run. Those two just do not compliment each other.

Fuck Steve Nash. Keep Lin and try to bring back either Jr Smith or Novak. I would prefer Novak. Lin is still ascending and wherever Nash goes he'll get worse. Book it. Honestly I don't know what to do with Woodson. This series has changed my opinion about him, every thought things have happened that are not in his control. I wouldn't mind seeing him come back.
